#Addicted to the Happiness

I love seeing you look at each other for the first time on your wedding day.
I get so excited when I tell you that you’re married and you may kiss for the first time!
I take some of that happiness home with me …  it’s a great feeling!

Writing ceremonies is not a one-size fits all process. Your ceremony is about you as a couple, as individuals and how you came to be. Sometimes that can be a short story, and others need more time – but either way, I’m guided by you and what you want.

I pride myself on getting to know you as a couple, understanding your relationship, your views on marriage and your plans for the future – then I incorporate that into a ceremony that will be interesting and enjoyable – one that you will love, and your guests will sit up and listen to!

It’s easy to get married …

Ceremonies are a time-honoured tradition and people love to gather to celebrate. So whether you want a small wedding or one with more bling than Liza Minnelli – I’m your girl!

All you need is one clear calendar month to lodge your intent to marry – so if you wish to marry on 7th October, your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed and witnessed by your celebrant no later than the 7th September.  The legal documentation you must show is either your original birth certificate or passport, along with any documents if you have been previously married.   It’s as simple as that.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions – I’d be more than happy to assist.

I proudly display this symbol on my web page to reassure same sex couples that they are welcome and will be treated with integrity and respect.

Thank you very much for your wonderful help on Saturday and for your calm and loving approach to our wedding. I was really happy with how it all went and appreciated your willingness to keep it all as simple as possible. I am also really pleased that you have given us a copy of the wedding ceremony where our vows were documented – it will be a nice memento for our children one day. Thank you also for the detailed information on how to apply for our official wedding certificate. You are exceptionally thorough! All the best,

Zerina and Andy
