What is a Pop Up Wedding?

Pop Up Weddings have been circulating the wedding scene for a few years now and have gained popularity worldwide.  They are proving to be the ‘go to’ solution for couples who want a stylish, personalised ceremony and intimate reception, without all the fuss and expense.

What attracts people to Pop Up Weddings is the simplicity of it all.  By offering you our fabulous venue and a set wedding date, all you really need to do is choose the time you wish to be married and just show up!  We’ll take care of the rest.   We seamlessly coordinate your ceremony, photos and reception within a 90 minute timeframe, with 10 of your closest family and friends.  And if you wish to add more guests, it can easily be arranged.

Our team of dedicated wedding professionals love what they do, so your picturesque wedding at the sought-after venue of Fortnums Restaurant in Sassafras will be stress-free, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable for everyone.

So how does it work?

We offer five session times on our selected Pop Up Wedding date of THURSDAY 19TH OCTOBER, 2017.  Once you have paid your deposit and your preferred time is confirmed, you will meet with Lisa Newman, our awe-inspiring celebrant and your wedding is booked!  Likewise, other couples will book their wedding on the same date and secure the services of our team.

What’s included?

  • An experienced and fabulous Wedding Celebrant who will meet with you personally to ensure all your questions are answered, all legal documentation is completed and you are supported every step of the way.
  • The beautiful venue of Fortnums Restaurant who will cater your 45 minute High Tea buffet or Champagne & Nibbles reception for 10 of your closest family and friends.
  • A friendly and creative local Photographer who will provide you with a vibrant collection of memories on a USB, ready to take home on the day.
  • A floral bouquet for the bride and button hole for the groom – just tell us your colours and we’ll make sure they match.

The best part is, by bringing the suppliers and stylists together on the one day, everyone is sharing the cost and the incredible savings are passed on to you!  So how much is your wonderful celebration going to cost?

Your all inclusive price:  $1,995

And what’s more, your wedding function will be private and completely separate from other wedding parties.  Fortnums has a picturesque courtyard with delightful foliage and a rustic bridal arch, that on a fine day offers views to the city.  And if the weather isn’t as perfect as we planned, the inside option of the restaurant is warm, cosy and inviting.

9.45am – 11.15am

11.30am – 1.00pm

1.15pm – 2.45pm

3.00pm – 4.30pm

4.45pm – 6.15pm
